Lift & Load Removals FAQs

Q: How Can I Pay?
A: All of our teams are equipped with mobile EFTPOS machines so that you can pay us easily, we accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard or EFTPOS on the day prior to our trucks leaving the premises.

Q: How Come You Charge Door To Door and others charge Depot To Depot?
A: Door To Door charging is becoming an increasingly popular way of charging within the removalist industry. We still pay our staff to and from the depot we just don’t charge our clients for this.

Q: I live in an apartment unit block and parking is limited, what should I do?
A: Notify your neighbors that you’re moving and ask them if they are able to make alternative arrangement whilst the truck is in place. If you live within the CBD area please let us know so that we can obtain parking permits.

Q: Do I need to empty my Fridge and Freezer?
A: Yes please, these will need to be emptied/defrosted.

Q: What should I do with my mirrors and paintings?
A: We prefer to handle these for you on moving day, so please leave these either on the walls or in a corner of the room well away from other furniture.

Q: Do you move BBQs?
A: Yes absolutely, please remove the gas bottle as we unable to relocate these due to safety restrictions.

A: Due to the nature of our business, we need to continue working regardless of the weather. However, our team’s safety is very important to us, so if it is too dangerous to carry on, we will reassess the situation for all parties concerned.

Q: I have simultaneous settlements, how is this handled?
A: As soon as you know your settlement date please call us and confirm this with us. Approximately 3 days prior to your settlement, you will be informed of the exact settlement time, this is when/what you let us know so that we can co-ordinate the starting time, resources etc. with you.

Q: Do I need to empty out my filing cabinets?
A: In most cases yes, we do prefer these cabinets to be emptied, however, if they are sparsely filled you may use your own judgment.
